Overview

Jerry E. Tuma, a Certified Financial Planner™, is president and founder of Cornerstone Financial Services, Inc. (CFS), founded in 1983.

Jerry is a Registered Principal with Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG), a Registered Investment Adviser. Member FINRA/SIPC. CFS and IFG are not affiliated entities.

A founding member of Kingdom Advisors (created by Larry Burkett), Jerry has been a vital part of this nationwide Christian Financial planning organization.

As a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington (BBA, 1979), Jerry studied under one of the nation’s top economic forecasters, Dr. Richard Wilson, a disciple of Nobel Prize winning economist Milton Friedman.

Radio, Television, and Conferences

Jerry has hosted radio programs discussing financial topics, investments and the economy since 1981, and currently hosts the nationally syndicated financial show, Smart Money.

An acclaimed speaker on economic and investment topics, Jerry has spoken in venues as diverse as the United Nations as well as financial conferences both nationally and internationally, from Vancouver, Canada to Jakarta, Indonesia.

Author

Jerry and his wife Ramona, along with noted author Dr. Tim LaHaye, wrote Smart Money examining a person’s temperament and how it affects their financial behavior.

From Boom to Bust and Beyond

Jerry’s second book, From Boom to Bust and Beyond, published in early 2009, gives an in-depth look at the hidden forces driving our economy. Jerry discusses the impact of demographics upon our economy, and their role both in the financial crisis as well as the future.
